we have so much to do...

and so little time...

to support the youth...

and change the times...

i have a vision of a new bright day...

where all youth will feel safe everyday...

where people of all colors, races, and beliefs will come together for real peace...

it is our duty to save the youth...

but we cannot deny the in your face truth...

to be black, young, talented, and driven...

it is not safe, instead a prison...

youth feel the questions, the stares, the doubt...

but that is not what AMERICA is about...

instead it is too many people who continue this glare...

and judge a person because of their skin and hair...

this knee on your neck that will not let you free...

cannot stop the Kings and Queens that dwell in we...

we the youth will not be forgotten...

sweet change is in us, and out goes the rotten!
